Today I have a monochromatic card using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlit Dies.   The layout was inspired by a sketch I saw which I tweaked a little bit.  I started by stamping the greeting “Just Because” from the Vertical Greetings stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Bermuda Bay ink.  I embossed a piece of Bermuda Bay card using the Falling Petals Embossing Folder.  I wrapped the card with Very Vanilla 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon and tied a knot before attaching to scored and folded Bermuda Bay card.  I cut the string of dragonflies from Very Vanilla card and attached them to the embossed  Bermuda Bay card.  Lastly I added a large Basic Rhinestone to each of the dragonflies.

To decorate the inside of my card I embossed a piece of Bermuda Bay card once more using the Falling Petals Embossing Folder and attached it to Very Vanilla card.  I cut out one of the “string of dragonflies” and attached it over the embossed card.

What do you think?  Doesn’t it show off this die perfectly.  I am rather pleased with this card and will be including it in one of my upcoming classes at the Beachmere Retirement Resort.
