February Thank You’s

April 3, 2017

I thought I had already shared the card and gift packages that I gave to my customers who placed online orders using the Hostess Code during February.  Unfortunately the stamp set I used, the gorgeous Make a Medallion stamp set is now sadly unavailable.  I embossed Whisper white card using the Softly Falling embossing Folder I cut a piece of the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper on the diagonal, attached a narrow strip of Basic Black card behind the diagonal edge and attached it to the embossed Whisper White card.  The panel is attached to scored and folded Melon Mambo card.  I stamped three images from the Make a Medallion stamp set  to create the medallion, one in Tip Top Taupe, one in Melon Mambo and the “thanks” in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  Because this stamp set is photopolymer, it is so easy to line up the images.  I cut the medallion out using one of the circles in the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.  The medallion is attached to a Basic Black scalloped circle, cut using the same layering dies and then the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside, I attached a narrow strip of Basic Black card behind one long edge of the same Designer Series Paper and attached it to Whisper White card.

I enclosed the gift in a brown paper bag which I wrapped with the Gold Metallic Ribbon which was free in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue with a qualifying order.  I tied the ribbon through the top of a banner created by embossing Whisper White card using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and attaching it to Basic Black card.  I used the Make a Medallion stamp set and the same inks to create the focal medallion but this time, I cut out the centre piece and also the smaller inner round circle stamped in Tip Top Taupe using the Layering Circles Dies.  I attached the smallest and second smallest layers to the layer below using dimensionals.

So simple but so pretty, I hope the customers who ordered online and used my hostess code during February liked their gifts.

Bye for now,

Kris

So glad you liked it Mary. I really appreciate your support of my business. We were very lucky and didn’t have any damage from Debbie. A lot of rain but no local flooding. I hope you also fared well. Catch up soon.
