Emerald Medallion

May 8, 2017

I wanted to create a card to demonstrate how easy it is to create a beautiful card using the Eastern Medallion Thinlit Dies to the ladies in my Beachmere Class.  I had rather a lot of Emerald Envy 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon in my stash and decided to do a monochromatic card using Whisper White and Emerald Envy.

I cut the medallion from the Whisper White card using the Eastern Medallion Thinlit Dies.  I embossed the bottom of the same piece of Whisper White using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder The greeting from the Eastern Beauty stamp set is stamped into the centre of the medallion using Emerald Envy ink.  I wrapped the top of the embossing with the Emerald Envy 3/8″ Ruched Ribbon and tied a knot.  The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Emerald Envy card.  To complete the card, medium Basic Rhinestones were added all around the inside edge of the medallion.

To decorate the inside, I attached a narrow strip of Emerald Envy card behind one long edge of Whisper White card embossed using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.  The panel is attached to the bottom of Whisper White card.

Simple but oh so stunning!  I think it is the colour combination but I do love it.  What about you?

Bye for now,

Stunning card Kris, sorry I can’t make it Thursday, our 49th wedding anniversary.

I have marked out the 3rd June for your launch. I am hoping I can get to some classes soon.

    Take care
