Happy Anniversary

My Mum and Dad are celebrating their 63rd Wedding Anniversary yesterday. What an amazing milestone. It must be awesome to look back and see how their family has grown. I am one of three daughters and Mum and Dad have four granddaughters and one grandson, eight great granddaughters and eight great grandsons. Unfortunately, we do not always get together as a family but maybe soon.
Anyway I was inspired by a sketch challenge at The Papercraft Crew to create my card. I embossed Very Vanilla card using the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Thick A4 Very Vanilla card. I am so excited that we have this this A4 card in Very Vanilla as well as Whisper White. I cut two hearts from Soft Sky card using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies.
I cut through one of the hearts so that I could intertwine them before attaching to the lower right hand corner of the card front. I tied a bow using the Silver 1/4″ Natural Trim and attached it where the hearts intersect using a Glue Dot.
To decorate the inside I stamped a greeting from the Special Celebration stamp set onto the centre of the card using Soft Sky ink. This stamp set is a great one to have in your stash, it covers just about every occasion you would ever need a card for.
Anyway once more congratulations and Happy Anniversary to my lovely Mum and Dad.
Bye for now,
Kris
