Beautiful Congratulations

May 17, 2018

Today I am sharing a card made using the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies (these are available in the new Annual Catalogue but the bundle retires on the 31st May along with the 10% discount).  I must admit that I have had my eye on all the gorgeous creations using this card for a while but only gave in and bought the bundle when I knew it would be carrying over to the new catalogue.  I have also used a couple of the new colours that will be joining the Brights Family with the new catalogue release.  To begin I embossed Whisper White card using the Layering Leaves Dynamic Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Mango Melody card (pretty isn’t it?).  I stamped the stem image onto Whisper White card using Granny Apple Green ink (another newbe and so pretty).  I stamped three different flowers using three different inks – Mango Melody, Flirty Flamingo and Melon Mambo.  The flower centres are stamped using Early Espresso ink.  Each of the flowers are cut out using the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies.  The Flirty Flamingo Flowers are attached flat onto the Whisper White card and all of the other flowers are attached using Mini Dimensionals.  I cut the bow from Mango Melody card and attached it over the flower stem.  The image panel is attached to Mango Melody card and then the card front using dimensionals I stamped the greeting from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto a narrow strip of Whisper White card using Granny Apple Green ink.  The greeting is attached to a strip of Mango Melody card and then the card front.

To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the stem image three times onto the lower left hand corner of Whisper White card using Granny Apple Green ink.  I stamped each of the flowers once more and cut them out using the matching framelit.  The flowers are attached over the ends of the flower stems.

I love the way the colours in the new Brights collection work together, bright and pretty but not too bright.  My favourite new colour (well for today anyway) is Mango Melody, what about you, are you looking forward to the colour refresh?  You will love it.

Bye for now,

Kris
