Colourful Springtime Impressions

July 10, 2018

I told you I would pop back with another card using the large floral image from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies.  To get this look, you need to cut Whisper White card using the floral image.  Once the image is cut out, I added colour using Stampin’ Blends – Dark Cherry Cobbler, Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark Rich Razzleberry, Dark Calypso Coral and Dark Old Olive.  Once the image was coloured I attached it to Whisper White card and then scored and folded Cherry Cobbler Card.  I stamped the greeting from the Special Celebrations stamp set onto Whisper White card and cut it out using one of the ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  I attached the greeting to a Cherry Cobbler scalloped oval cut using the same dies.  The greeting panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside of the card, I cut the large floral image from Whisper White card using the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies and cut out the two flowers and leaf from the corner.  The piece is coloured using the Dark Cherry Cobbler, Dark Rich Razzleberry and Dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.   The die cut is attached to the lower left hand corner of Whisper White card.

Colouring the die like this takes it to a whole new level.  Imagine the possibilities for all the pieces that you can cut just from this die.  I just need to get the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper now, so that I can continue my creating.

Bye for now,

Kris
