2019 Graduate

Today’s page shares photos from my grandaughter’s graduation. Elyssa is the youngest in her family, so she will join her brother and sister at High School next year. She looked so gorgeous and so grown up on her graduation night. My page is 12″ x 12″ Whisper White and I simply added the photos which I print at home to the size I want. So the small photos are all 2″ x 3″. After I attached the photos, I cut the numbers from Night of Navy card using the retired Large Numbers Dies, which I attached to the top of the page. I stamped the letters for graduate onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink and the Lined Alphabet stamp set (I had forgotten I had this one!). I used the co-ordinating Layering Alphabet Dies to cut out the letters. These dies only partially cut out the letter so I trimmed around the rest of the letter which of course was easy to do following the stamped outline. I attached the title letters to the bottom of the page. I stamped the image from the Beautiful You stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Night of Navy, Ivory and Bronze Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image and attached it to the page. I cut two small squares of Night of Navy card, layered them and attached them over the head of the image to look like a graduation cap. I cut some Silver Metallic Thread and attached it to the “cap” using a large Basic Rhinestone and a Mini Glue Dot just to be sure.
Although this is a relatively simple page, I love it because the gorgeous photos are the focus of the page. It will always bring a smile to my face to remember this lovely night.
Bye for now,
Kris
