Try Stampin’ on Tuesday Challenge 498

Today I finally created a card for a challenge and met the deadline. So here is my entry for the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday challenge this week. I embossed Basic White card using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a strip of one of the patterned papers from the True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and lightly attached it to the embossed card. I coloured one of the flowers from the True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Papers using Purple Posy and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends.

I cut out the flower and attached it to the embossed Basic White card, slipping the bottom edge of the flower underneath the strip of Designer Series Paper. I wrapped the centre of the Designer Series Paper strip with Purple Posy 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon before attaching the whole panel to scored and folded Purple Posy card. I stamped “congratulations” from the Floral Art stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I cut out the greeting using the banner from the Floral Gallery Dies and attached it over the ribbon on the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside of the card, I embossed a strip of Basic White card using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a length of the Purple Posy 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon behind one long edge and attached the panel across the bottom of Basic White card. I coloured a single flower from the same pattern True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper as the previous flower using Purple Posy and Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the flower and attached it to the panel, slipping the bottom edge underneath the embossed panel. I liked this card so much, I made another using a different flower from the True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

Purple Posy is one of those colours I haven’t used much and I don’t know why because these cards turned out so pretty, don’t you think?
