Another Purple Birthday
I shared a card with you recently that I created after being inspired by a card on Pinterest by Carolyn King. Well, today I have a card created using the other layout in this pin. For this card, I embossed Basic White card using the dotted folder from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders.
I attached a panel of True Love Designer Series paper to the embossed card before attaching it to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I cut Basic White card using the largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies and attached it to Basic Black card cut using the largest scalloped circle from the same dies.
I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto the Basic White circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The greeting panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I coloured a floral bouquet from the True Love Designer Series Paper using Highland Heather and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image and attached it to the stamped Basic White circle. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped a greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I attached a narrow strip of Basic Black card behind one long edge of True Love Designer Series Paper and attached the panel across the bottom of the stamped Basic White card.
I think both cards turned out beautifully don’t you?
