Harvest Birthday
I created today’s card for a friend who recently celebrated her birthday. I die cut scrap Basic White card using one of the Harvest Dies. I used the space created in the scrap card to sponge Soft Sea Foam ink onto Basic White card using a Blending Brush. I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set to the right of the sponged images using Mossy Meadow ink.
I embossed the stamped panel using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a piece of the Cork Specialty Paper across the bottom of the embossed panel. I coloured a length of White 1/4″ Crinkle Ribbon using the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend, tied a bow and attached it across the top edge of the Cork Specialty Paper.
The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Mossy Meadow card. I stamped the large floral image from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using the Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Calypso Coral, Light Soft Suede and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. The image is cut out using the co-ordinating Harvest Die and attached to the left hand side of the card front. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped, coloured and die cut the large floral image from the Nature’s Harvest stamp set. The image is attached to the left hand side of Basic White card.
I love this card and hope that my friend did too.
