Summer Fun
I created my card today using the Driving By stamp set after I saw this card by Amy Koenders. I did change it a little but it gave me a starting point. I embossed Bermuda Bay card using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I cut basic White card using one of the Ornate Layer Dies and stamped the car image from the Driving By stamp set onto the right hand side of the die using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
I coloured the image using Daffodil Delight and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. I cut a mask from a post-it-note and covered the stamped and coloured image. I inked the palm tree image from the Paradise Palms stamp set using Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Markers. I stamped the image so that it would cover part of the stamped car.
I stamped the same car image from the Driving By stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Bermuda Bay and Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image, removed the mask and attached this car over the ends of the Palm Trees. I attached the panel to the centre of the embossed Bermuda Bay card. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the Driving By stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink. I embossed a narrow strip of Bermuda Bay card using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and attached it across the bottom of the inside of the card.
I am having fun playing with this stamp set and I am sure that I will be using it more in the future.
