Boxing Day

Today’s page shows off a photo of my sisters and I on Boxing Day 1964 in Chicago. My grandfather worked with a gentleman whose daughter lived in Chicago and insisted we look them up while we were living there. They became great family friends. To begin this page I cut 3″ squares of the All Together 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and attached them to a Basic White 12″ x 12″ page. Since I love Black & White Designer Series Paper the All Together paper is sure to be a favourite with me.

I attached my photo to Basic Black card and attached it to the centre of the Designer Series Paper squares. I printed the title onto Basic White card and fussy cut it before attaching it to the top left hand corner. The journaling is printed onto Basic White card which I attached to Basic Black card before attaching it to the page. Another simple page but I am happy to be working through these old photos while I still have my Mum and Dad around to answer my questions.
