This calls for a celebration

This week on my Facebook Live, I created several cards using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I wanted to show how you put the different die cuts together to create different looks. Today I have a couple of cards I made using the Hello Beautiful stamp set as well and the Beautiful Shapes Dies. For the first card, I stamped four different images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set onto Basic White card using Soft Foam, Mint Macaron, Just Jade and Smoky Slate ink.

The images are stamped randomly and even on top of each other. I attached the stamped panel to Just Jade card and the scored and folded Soft Sea Foam card. I stamped the greeting from the Hello Beautiful stamp set onto Soft Sea Foam card using Just Jade ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the Beautiful Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped three of the images I used on the card front onto the lower left hand corner of Basic White card using the same inks. I was happy with the finished result for this card but decided to change it up just a little. This time, I stamped the images from the Hello Beautiful stamp set as before onto Basic White card using the same inks. I also added in one more image which I stamped using Smoky Slate ink.

I used one of the hexagon shapes from the Beautiful Shapes Dies to cut the image. I began in the middle and placed the die as close as possible to the edge of the previously cut hexagon. I attached the hexagons to a piece of Soft Sea Foam card. The panel is attached to Just Jade card and then scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I cut a slightly larger hexagon from Just Jade and attached it to the centre of the image panel. I stamped one of the images onto Basic White card using Soft Sea Foam ink and cut it out using one of the hexagon dies from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I stamped the greeting from the Hello Beautiful stamp set onto the hexagon using Just Jade ink before attaching it to the card front. I decorated the inside of the card by stamping several of the same images onto the lower left hand corner using the same inks as the card front.

My husband thinks these cards are a bit too green, however, I love both versions of this card and I’d love to know what you think too.
bye for now,
Kris
