Bendy Birthday

This week on my Facebook Live, I shared the Around the Bend Bundle. This is a great bundle but I probably love the dies the most. For this card, I used Washi Tape to line up the two dies from the Around the Bend Dies on a piece of Basic White card so that I created a narrow scalloped border as well as the decorative panel. The narrow scalloped border let me attach it to the back of the decorative panel without obscuring the “holes” in the panel. I attached the die cut panel to the left hand side of a piece of Design A Daydream 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and then scored and folded Pool Party card. I cut Basic White card using the largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies.

I stamped the “sand” stamp from the Oceanfront stamp set across the bottom of the Basic White circle using Sahara Sand ink. I stamped the “sea” stamp from the Oceanfront stamp set above the stamped sand using Pool Party ink. I stamped the same stamp to fill the top of the circle but this time I stamped the image onto scrap paper first. I stamped the small bird image from the Seaside Bay stamp set across the “sand” using Early Espresso ink.

I cut a scalloped circle from Pool Party card using the Layering Circle Dies and attached the stamped Basic White circle. The image panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Go To Greetings stamp set onto Basic White card using Early Espresso ink. I cut a “v” in one end of the greeting banner “before attaching it across the image panel. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the “sand” image onto the lower left hand corner of Basic White card using Sahara Sand ink. I cleaned the stamp and re-inked using Pool Party to add a little bit of “sea” before stamping the bird image from the Seaside Bay stamp set using Early Espresso ink

I love how this card turned out, don’t you. I am really looking forward to using these Around the Bend Dies on lots of creations.
