Irresistibly Happy

March 23, 2023

Today’s card once more uses the Irresistible Blooms Bundle which is part of the new Online Exclusive product from Stampin’ Up. I really love the softness of the colours in this particular collection which even brings back a couple of retired colours – Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. For my card today, I attached a piece of the Hello, Irresistible 6″x 6″ Designer Series Paper to the right hand side of Basic White card. I cut one short edge of a piece of Basic White card using the Basic Border Dies to give a pretty edge. I stamped the greeting from the Charming Sentiments stamp set across the bottom of the die cut using Flirty Flamingo ink.

I stamped the dotted background image from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set onto the upper right and lower left corners of the die cut using Flirty Flamingo ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I stamped one large and two small flowers from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set onto Basic White card using Flirty Flamingo ink and cut them out using the co-ordinating Irresistible Blooms Dies. I stamped the three leaf image from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set twice onto Basic White card using Soft Sea Foam ink and cut them out using the co-ordinating Irresistible Blooms Die. I attached the flowers and leaves to the stamped die cut panel using dimensionals underneath the two small flowers.

The stamped die cut is attached to the Basic White panel so that the decorative edge sits over the Designer Series Paper. The whole piece is attached to scored and folded Flirty Flamingo card. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of Basic White card using Flirty Flamingo ink. I also stamped the three leaf image from the same stamp set beside the flower using Soft Sea Foam ink. I love this card which was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest by Julie Makson, although Julie used a different stamp set and Designer Series Paper. So thank you Julie. I’d love to know what you think about this gorgeous stamp set and the Online Exclusives.

Bye for now,

Kris
