Life is Sweeter

March 30, 2023

Today’s card layout was inspired by one in a tutorial I purchased from Connie & Mary a very long time ago. I embossed a piece of Basic White card using one of the folders from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders (these embossing folders are part of the Online Exlusive collection). I attached a piece of the now retired Dandy Designs 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of the embossed card. I attached a piece of Basic White card onto the right hand side of the card front and wrapped the panel with a length of the Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Fresh Freesia card.

I stamped the greeting from the Share a Milkshake stamp set onto Fresh Freesia card and cut a “v” in one end. The greeting panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the solid glass image from the Share a Milkshake stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I stamped the detailed glass image from the same stamp set over the top using Crumb Cake ink.

I stamped the ice cream image from the Share a Milkshake stamp set onto Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped the solid straw image from the Share a Milkshake stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I stamped the detailed image from the same stamp set over the top using Crumb Cake ink. All of the stamped images were cut out using the co-ordinating Share a Milkshake Dies. I attached the glass image to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. I slid the straw image through the slot in the ice cream image and attached it to the top of the glass using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the Share a Milkshake stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the heart image from the same stamp set beside the greeting using Fresh Freesia ink. This is such a fun stamp set which is just so easy to use.

Bye for now,

Kris
