Lookout
Today’s pages show of some photos of our stay in Bowen last year. Ron & I decided to walk up to the Mother Beddock Lookout behind the caravan park we staying in at Rose Bay. The walk was a bit steep with lots of steps but totally worth it to see the view. You can see just about everything there is to see in Bowen from the top. I cut a piece of Nature Walk 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper using one of the 1, 2, 3 Layouts featured in my Memory Keeping Classes.

The 1, 2, 3 Layouts are created by Noreen Smith and can be found here on You Tube. I used the large leaf die from Nature’s Symphony Dies to cut Basic White card twice. I also cut Early Espresso using the “bark” die from the Nature’s Symphony Dies. I printed my title onto Basic White card and used one of the Branching Out Dies to cut it out.

I attached the title and one of the leaves to the top left hand corner of the first page. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card, cut it out using one of the Branching Out Dies and attached it and the second leaf to the bottom of the right hand page. I stamped the greeting from the Weekend Adventure stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink and attached it to the “bark” die cut. The greeting is attached to the bottom of the first page. So simple and easy to create but a great way to document our walk.
Bye for now,
Kris
