A Lovely Birthday

June 23, 2026

My youngest daughter celebrated her birthday recently and today I thought I would share the card I made for her. I created the card base following the instructions from Terri Gaines. I cut a piece of Basic White card using the flower die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies and attached it to Fresh Freesia card. The panel is attached to the left hand flap on the card front. I stamped the large flower and smaller flower onto Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped the large and small flowers from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto scrap Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink. I also stamped the leaf image onto scrap Basic White card using Lost Lagoon ink. I cut out the flowers and leaves using the co-ordinating Lovely Arrangements Dies. I attached the flowers to the stamped Basic White panel using dimensionals. I cut apart the leaves and tucked them underneath the flowers. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White card using Lost Lagoon ink.

I cut out the greeting using one of the banner dies from the Lovely Arrangements Dies. I cut Lost Lagoon card using the larger banner from the same dies and attached the greeting to it. The greeting panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. I added a few Basic Rhinestones around the flowers and leaves. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower and the leaf images from the Lovely Arrangments stamp set onto scrap Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink for the flower and Lost Lagoon ink for the leaves. I cut apart the leaves and attached the flower and the leaves onto the lower left hand corner of Basic White card. The panel is attached to Fresh Freesia card before adhering to the inside panel of the card base. I love this fancy fold and the tutorial is so easy to follow. Thank you Terri.

Bye for now,
