Butterfly Birthday
For today’s card I decided to use the Eyelet Bloom Die which was the April 2026 Product of the Month to create an embossed panel for my card front. I love how the Impressions Plate opens up a whole new world when it comes to embossing. After embossing the Basic White panel I attached it to scored and folded Pretty Peacock card. I used my new Stamp Positioner to create the image panel. I used Lemon Lolly ink to stamp the heart border from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set across the top of the Basic White panel.
Then I used Basic Black Hybrid ink to add the rows of butterflies from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set also using the Stamp Positioner. Lastly I stamped “happy birthday” from the Rolling Waves stamp set using the Stamp Positioner and Pretty Peacock ink. I used the Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to colour the butterflies before attaching the panel to Pretty Peacock card.
The whole panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped a greeting from the Phrases & Frames stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I stamped the butterflies from the Bordered in Beauty stamp set across the bottom of the Basic White card using Basic Black Hybrid ink. I coloured the butterflies using the Light & Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. Kind of simple card but I got to play with the new Stamp Positioner and some new stamps!
