Embossing Folders
Today I have some cards to share created by colouring the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder. I am sure you have seen cards created this way before but this is my first time trying this. I embossed two panels of Basic White card using the Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder and on the debossed side I used a Sponge Dauber to add Crushed Curry, Pecan Pie, Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss ink to the flowers and the leaves. Once you have coloured everything you take an ink pad and drag it over the top so that you add colour to the raised sections of the embossed panel. In this case I used Early Espresso ink.

I trimmed one panel and attached it to Old Olive card and then an Early Espresso card base. I stamped “sending smiles” from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White card using Old Olive ink. I used one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the greeting before attaching it to the card front using dimensionals.

I decorated the inside by attaching a narrow strip of the coloured embossing folder across the bottom of Basic White card. I stamped the greeting from the Phrases & Frames stamp set onto the panel using Old Olive ink. For the second panel, I trimmed it down and attached it to Early Espresso card and then a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped “thank you” from the Paradise Garden stamp set onto Basic White card using Early Espresso ink. I cut out the greeting using another banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.

The inside of the card is decorated in the same manner as the first one, however, I used Early Espresso ink this time. I loved how these two cards turned out so I had to try one using the Floral Spray 3D Embossing Folder. As before I embossed Basic White card using the folder and coloured the debossed side using a sponge dauber with Old Olive and Blackberry Bliss ink. I also used Early Espresso card to drag across the top of the folder. I trimmed down the panel, attached it to Blackberry Bliss card and then a Thick Basic White card base.

I stamped “thinking of you” from the Friendly Foliage stamp set onto Basic White card using Blackberry Bliss ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped another greeting from the Friendly Foliage stamp set onto Basic White card. I also attached a piece of the coloured embossed panel across the bottom of the Basic White panel. I love how all of these cards turned out, don’t you.
Bye for now,
Kris
