Cunnamulla
We met up with our friends at Cunnamulla to do our trip up to Northern Queensland. We love Cunnamulla and have stayed there a few times, always at the same park. We also watched an amazing movie about the Railway in Cunnamulla and how it served the town, although not any more. I used one piece of Wood Grain Wonder Designer Series Paper which I cut following one of Noreen Smith’s 1, 2, 3 scrapbook layouts. You can find this one on You Tube. I sponged the edges of each piece of the designer series paper using Crumb Cake ink before attaching them to White Willow 12″ x 12″ card.
I did sponge the edge of the White Willow card as well using Crumb Cake ink. I attached my photos to Early Espressto card before attaching them to the pages. I cut the title from Basic White card which I stamped first with one of the patterns from the Playful Patterns stamp set using Crumb Cake ink. I used a sponge dauber to add a little more Crumb Cake ink to each letter for adhering it to the left hand page. I stamped two large and one small tree from the retired Adventure Together stamp set. I cut out the trees using the co-ordinating Adventure Together Die (also retired). I layered the trees beside the title on the left hand page.
I stamped “let the adventure begin” from the Adventure Together stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. I punched out the greeting using the retired 1-1/2″ Circle Punch before attaching it to the right hand page. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card and attached a photo to the top of the journaling. I attached the journaling to Early Espresso card before attaching it to the right hand page. I stamped the chair from the Adventure Together stamp set twice onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. The chairs are coloured using the light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend. I also stamped the fire pit image from the Adventure Together stamp set onto Basic White card using Crumb Cake ink. I cut out the fire pit using the co-ordinating Adventure Together Die. I coloured the fire pit image using Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend. A pretty simple page but I think it looks lovely, don’t you.
