Beary Merry Christmas
This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Joyful Friends stamp set from the new September to December catalogue. For this card I attached a strip of Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper to Basic White card. I also attached a narrow strip of the red paper from the Timeless Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Basic White card. The whole panel is attached to scored and poled Poppy Parade card. I stamped “merry” and “christmas” from the Joyful Friends stamp set onto Basic White card using Poppy Parade ink.
I cut out the greeting using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies before attaching it to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the bear and candy cane image onto Basic White card twice using Black Hybrid ink.
I coloured the image using Crumb Cake and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. The images are cut out using one of the squares from the Stylish Shapes Dies.I attached them to the card front – one above the greeting and one below. To decorate the inside of the card I attached the same Designer Series Paper pieces across the bottom of Basic White card. I love the way this turned out so I had to create one using the bear with lights image from the Joyful Friends stamp set. Same idea and layout just used the Peaceful Pine pattern paper from the Timeles Christmas Designer Series Paper and the green paper from the Timeless Metallic Specialty Designer Series Paper.
