Merry Christmas to You

October 17, 2024

This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Christmas Labels Bundle. Today I have another card to share using this same bundle. For this card, I followed the layout of Template 3 on page 22 of the Annual Catalogue to create my card. I cut strips of the Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper and attached them to Basic White card. I wrapped the panel with Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon and tied a knot.

The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Mossy Meadow card. I stamped the greeting from the Christmas Labels stamp set onto Basic White card using Mossy Meadow ink.

I cut out the greeting using one of the Christmas Labels Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached a narrow strip of Season of Green & Gold Designer Series Paper across the bottom of Basic White card. I stamped another greeting from the Christmas Labels stamp set onto the Basic White card before attaching the panel inside the Mossy Meadow card base. This is such a fun Christmas Bundle to play with. I just know that there are many different ways that these products can be used. I hope I have inspired you to take a look at this bundle to see how you can use it in your projects.

Winterly Tree Tops

October 15, 2024

Today I have a card I created using the Winterly Tree Tops Bundle which is current in the new Mini Catalogue. For this card, I used my largest clear block and coloured it using the Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Write Marker. I spritzed the block with water and layered a piece of Fluid Watercolour Paper on top to absorb the colour.

I let the paper dry and used the block to weigh it down so that it dried pretty flat. I die cut Mossy Meadow card using the leafy frame die and attached it to the watercoloured paper. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I stamped the double bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set onto Basic White card and used Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends to colour the image.

I cut out the image using the co-ordinating Winterly Tree Tops Die and attached the image to the Basic White card so that it sits inside the leafy frame. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the single bird image onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo ink. I coloured the image using the same Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the greeting from the Greetings of the Season stamp set beside the bird using Mossy Meadow ink. This product collection is growing on me very quickly.

Enjoy The Season

October 12, 2024

Today I have a double page layout to share with you that I created using the Reindeer Memories Scrapbook Workshop Kit. This particular kit also co-ordinates with the Reindeer Days Suite Collection in the current mini catalogue. I don’t have any of the products from the Suite Collection and I was able to create my pages without them. However, if you have this kit you could probably create more pages and add different embellishments if you wished.

The Reindeer Memories Scrapbook Workshop Kit contains enough product to create three double page layouts with a lot left over for creating extra pages or maybe some Christmas cards. The instructions walk you through cutting the different Designer Series Papers and also Two-Tone Card to create the three pages. I just piled the pieces for each layout together so I knew where to start. The instructions also give you measurements so that you know how to lay out the pieces onto the pages. The instructions also show you which die cuts and stickers to use for each layout. I have to admit that I did change some of the Designer Series Paper squares for some extra photos.

I also didn’t use exactly the same embellishments as indicated in the instructions but added some different ones to suit my page. I decided to print my journaling onto Basic White card and cut it out using one of the Stylish Shapes Dies before attaching it to the page. I love how simple these Workshop Kits make it to create bright and happy these pages. If you haven’t noticed these before it’s probably because they are not in any catalogue but you can view them in the new Scrapbooking brochure which Stampin’ Up! released in September or you can see them in my online store. If you need more information please do not hesitate to contact me or your local demonstrator.

Bright & Beautiful

October 10, 2024

This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Season of Elegance Suite. Today I have another card to share using some of these products. I cut a piece of the Season of Elegance 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper and attached it to Gold Foil card. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Cherry Cobbler card.

I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Season stamp set onto Basic White card using Cherry Cobbler ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the Peaceful Season Dies. I threaded a length of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon through the die cut before attaching the whole piece of the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the row of trees image from the Peaceful Evergreen stamp set onto Basic White card using Old Olive ink.

I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Season stamp set underneath the trees using Cherry Cobbler ink. This is a relatively simple card which I created using Template Two which can be found on page 22 of the Annual Catalogue. I especially love how gorgeous the Cherry Cobbler and Gold paper is , don’t you. Well if you check out this Designer Series Paper you will find that one side of each sheet is loaded with Gold Foil. In fact my one regret is that I didn’t have any Gold Embossing Powder to use to create my greeting on the front of the card. (Don’t worry, it has been ordered now!).

Frosted Christmas

October 8, 2024

My card today uses the Frosted Forest stamp set, dies and decorative masks. I embossed a piece of Basic White card using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. I created two small and one large tree using the masks, a blending brush and Old Olive ink. Each layer just added more depth to the colour without using darker or lighter greens. The trees are cut out using the co-ordinating Frosted Forest Dies.

I attached one small tree and the large tree to the left hand side of the embossed Basic White card. The second small tree is attached using dimensionals. I stamped “Merry Christmas” using the Greetings of the Season stamp set onto Basic White card using Old Olive ink. I cut out the greeting using the scallop die from the Unbounded Love Dies. I cut Old Olive card using the decorative oval and attached it arround the stamped greeting.

The greeting is attached to the upper right hand side of the page without dimensionals. I used the decorative masks, a blending brush and old olive ink to add a small tree to the lower left hand corner of Basic White card. I stamped “& Happy New Year” from the Greetings of the Season stamp set onto the Basic White panel using Old Olive ink. I love how Christmas this is and that using the one colour gave me more of an Aussie Christmas tree. I’d love to know what you think.

Happy Times

October 5, 2024

Recently I shared this layout with you that I created using a tutorial I purchased from Julie Carrier on her You Tube channel. Today I have another layout from the tutorial to share with you. This page shows off some photos taken at Tin Can Bay back in 2014.

This page again uses the Frames & Flowers 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper which as you know comes with some ephemera sheets which have been used to create the decoration on the page. I also used one pattern from the Country Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper as well.

The tags are cut using the Greetings of the Season Dies and I have added bows created using Linen Thread and some bling using the Ombre Matte Decorative Dots. The title was part of the workshop and printed onto Basic White card. I am so happy with these pages and love how using Julies cutting guide uses just about all the paper on the three layouts. I am really enjoying all the creativity that is being shared by the previous Close to My Heart Makers who are now Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators.

Peace & Joy

October 3, 2024

This week in my Facebook Live, I shared some cards I created using the Hang an Ornament Bundle. Today I have another card to share with you. For this card, I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Season stamp set onto the lower right hand corner of Basic White card using Mossy Meadow ink. I cut Mossy Meadow card using the largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached it to the top of the stamped Basic White card.

I attached a piece of Iconic Celebrations 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper down the left hand side of the Basic White card before attaching the whole panel to scored and folded Mossy Meadow card. I stamped the ornament image from the Hang an Ornament stamp set onto Basic White card using Mossy Meadow ink. I cut out the image using the 2nd largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I cut the ornament border panel from Mossy Meadow card using the Hang an Ornament Die. I attached the stamped panel to the card front using dimensionals. I tied a bow in a length of Silver Trim from the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack and attached it to the top of the ornament using a Glue Dot. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached a narrow strip of the same Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper down the left hand side of Basic White card. I stamped the greeting onto the Basic White panel using Mossy Meadow ink. The greeting is actually two greetings combined from the Peaceful Season Stamp Set. This is such a fun bundle to play with, don’t you think. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

Celebrate

October 1, 2024

Today I have a card to share using the Iconic Imagery stamp set. I embossed Basic White card using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Peach Pie card. I attached a piece of Summer Splash paper from the 2024-2026 In Colour Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of the embossed card.

I attached a piece of Shy Shamrock card over the right hand side of the Designer Series Paper. Lastly I attached a piece of Peach Pie In Colour Designer Series Paper over the top of both pieces of paper/card. I cut Basic White card using one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies and stamped the solid candle image from the Iconic Imagery stamp set several times using Summer Splash ink. I stamped the detailed candle image over the top using Shy Shamrock ink.

I stamped “celebrate” from the Iconic Imagery stamp set onto Basic White card using Peach Pie ink and used my paper snips to cut out the greeting. I attached the greeting over the stamped candles. The image panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card I attached a piece of Summer Splash Designer Series Paper down the left hand side of Basic White card. I stamped the solid candle image three times using Summer Splash ink and the detailed image over the top using Shy Shamrock ink. I love how bright & happy this card is, don’t you.
