Loads of Love

February 10, 2011

This stampset is one that I received as part of my Starter Kit when I joined Stampin’ Up!.  Its one that I have used for kids cards, male cards and today a Valentine card.

I used the sketch at Technostampers to create my card.  I thought that I would go with some really bright colours.  My base card is Whisper White to which I have added a layer of Real Red which has been embossed using my favourite – the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I added a layer of Daffodil Delight which has also been embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I stamped my car onto Pacific Point card using Basic Black ink and cut it out.  I also cut away the window.  I stamped the hearts onto Real Red card using Basic Black ink and cut them out.  I attached the car over the hearts onto Whisper White card and then using my stamp-a-ma-jig I stamped the girls face image from the Loads of Love Accessories stampset into the window.  I matted the image panel with Pacific Point card and added it over the Daffodil Yellow card using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting onto Whisper White card using Basic Black ink and punched it out using the 1 1/4″ circle punch.  I added a Daffodil Delight 1 3/8″ Circle and a Pacific Point 1 3/4″ scallop circle.  The greeting is attached to the image panel with a dimensional in the top right hand corner to prop it up.

All in all a fun little card.

Bye for now, Kris.
