Another Fox and Friends Card

March 4, 2011

I saw this sketch on Sketch Frenzy Friday  and thought it would work with the Fox and Friends stampset and also give me another entry for the Children’s cards at Late Night Stampers.

The Crumb Cake card has been stamped using the  Sanded Background and  Crumb Cake ink.  The next layer is a 9cm square of Real Red card which I have embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  The next layer is a 7cm square of Bashful Blue card on which I stamped Birthday Wishes from the Sincere Salutation stampset using Basic Black ink before embossing with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.    Once these two squares were attached to my Crumb Cake layer I tied a knot in a  piece of Whisper White 3/8″ Tafetta Ribbon and wrapped it around the whole piece.   I stamped the lion from the Fox and Friends stampset on Whisper White card using Crumb Cake ink and punched it out using the 1 1/4″ square punch.  I added a mat punched from Real Red card using the 1 3/8″ square punch.  The image panel is attached using dimensionals.  To make the base card I cut a piece of Real Red card 21cm x 14.8cm and scored it on the 21cm side at 10.5cm to make a 10.5cm x 14.8cm folded card.

I’m undecided about this one, what do you think?

Bye for now, Kris.

What a cute card! For some reason I don’t own this set but see so many great cards using it. I just may have to get it. Love the embossing. Using two different folders really adds a lot. TFS
