Golden Snow Swirled
Here is the make and take we did at my Embossing Workshop last weekend.
I stamped the tree from Snow Swirled onto Cherry Cobbler card stock using Versamark ink – after rubbing the cardstock with my embossing buddy. I sprinkled on Gold Embossing Powder, tapped off the excess and then used the Heat Tool to set the embossing powder. I added the tree panel to a layer of Very Vanilla card stock and set it aside. I stamped “seasons greeting” from the Snow Swirled stampset onto the bottom of another piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock using Versamark ink. I sprinkled on Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it using the Heat Tool. I added a piece of Victoria Crochet Trim and tied it in a knot. I attached the greeting piece to scored and folded Very Vanilla card stock. Lastly I attached the tree panel to the card front.
Again this is a very simple card but the gold embossing powder really “pops” against the Cherry Cobbler card stock.
I’d love to hear what you think.
Bye for now, Kris.

Hi Oma, I checked out your blog and tried to leave a comment. For some reason blogspot doesn’t like my wordpress id. Because I am not a .wordpress blog. Anyway, I loved your card and the golden ribbon looks gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
