SC 014/11

This weeks sketch at Sunny Challenges and Creations is from me.  I want you to use the sketch and the colour combination, Melon mambo, Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise.

I embossed the top half of a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I embossed a strip of Tempting Turquoise card stock using the Stripes Embossing Folder.  I cut a scallop trim from Daffodil Delight card stock using the Tasteful Trim Die.  I attached the Daffodil Delight scallop border behind the Tempting Turquoise cardstock.  I wrapped this piece with Whisper White 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon and tied a knot.  This piece was then attached to the Whisper White embossed cardstock and then attached to the scored and folded Melon Mambo card.  I stamped the car image from the Need for Speed stampset onto Whisper White card using Melon Mambo ink.  I stamped “spoil yourself today” from the  Bring on the Cake stampset below the car using Tempting Turquoise ink.  I added a mat of Melon Mambo cardstock to the image panel and attached it to the left hand side of the card front using dimensionals.

I wanted this to be a card for a girl in her late teens.  Did it work?  Let me know what you think.
