A Christmas Bird
I made this card for the sketch at Technostamper this week. It’s Mary Jo’s 200th challenge and congratulations are in order for always having such fantastic sketches.
I started with a base card of Early Expresso and added a layer of Whisper White. Please note I did NOT emboss this cardstock (must be some sort of a record for me). I added a piece of Old Olive Designer Paper from the Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack. I stamped the image from the Beautiful Season stampset onto Whisper White card stock using Black Stazon ink. I coloured the image using a Blender Pen and my Old Olive, Early Expresso and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers. I attached the image panel to Early Expresso card stock and attached it to the card front.
I ran a strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Crimper and attached it to the card front using Mini glue Dots. I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Petite Pairs stampset using Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out using the 1-1/4″ Circle Punch. I added a 1-3/8″ Circle of Cherry Cobbler card stock and then attached the whole piece to an Early Expresso 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle. This was attached to the card front using dimensionals.
I am way behind in making my Christmas cards this year, so this is one more for the stash.
Bye for now, Kris.

Thanks Kris! And what a wonderful card. Wish I had that set, I would case this for my next Christmas Card class. Thanks so much for playing along with my 200th sketch challenge!
