Everyday Enchantment

February 1, 2012

I really love the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series paper which you can earn FREE during Sale-A-Bration (24.1.12 – 31.3.12).  I saw the sketch at Stamping 411 this week and immediately thought of this designer paper.

I have used Poppy Parade for my base card and added two pieces of the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  Before attaching the piece on the right hand side I used my Mat Pack and Paper Piercer to insert 3 of the beautiful brads from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad pack (Free during Sale-A-Bration).  I matted another piece of the same designer series paper onto Lucky Limeade card and added it to the card front.  I stamped “birthday wishes” from the Sincere Salutation Stamp set onto Very Vanilla card stock using Poppy Parade ink, using my stamp-a-ma-jig to ensure perfect placement.  I attached it to a Lucky Limeade card stock mat and used dimensionals to attach it to the card front.  I tied a bow using the Victoria 5/8″ Crochet Trim and added it to the top of the greeting using a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you can see how gorgeous the brads are.  Each one is printed in a different design and colour combination.  They are very beautiful and a little larger than normal at 3/8″.

The two styles of Crochet Trim in the catalogue are really gorgeous and  add to the vintage feel when you use them on your cards and scrapbook pages.

Such a simple card but I really like it – probably has something to do with the vintage style of the paper.  I just realised that it this card fits the Design Challenge at Sudsol this week as well.

I’d love to hear what you think.

Bye for now, Kris.
