Techno Pink card
I found time yesterday to make a card using a sketch from the Technostamper blog (last week’s challenge). For some reason I just kept on thinking Melon Mambo, so that is the colour I used.
My base is Basic Black card stock and I added a layer of Melon Mambo card stock. I attached a strip of striped Melon Mambo Designer paper from the Brights Patterns Designer Series Paper stack to Basic Black card stock and then attached it to the front of the card.
I attached Very Vanilla card stock to Basic Black card stock and then attached it to the right hand side of the front of the card. I stamped the daisy image from the Upsy Daisy stamp set using Melon Mambo ink and moved it every so slightly and stamped again to give a shadow effect (I did use my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the image). The image is also attached to Basic Black and then to the card front. I cut Melon Mambo card stock using the Beautiful Wings embosslit and attached the largest butterfly to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot in the centre and a dimensional under each wing. I cut a length of Victoria 5/8″ Crochet trim and using a needle and thread gathered up one edge to make a medallion. I attached this to the card front and then attached a Melon Mambo button from the Regals Designer Buttons.
I am kind of amazed that this card doesn’t have any embossing (except for the butterfly) and I still love it. What do you think?
Bye for now, Kris.
