A Black and White Challenge
Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to create something using Black, White and one other colour. Since I truly love Black and White cards, I decided to play along.
I used Basic Black as my base card and added a layer of Whisper White card stock. I cut another piece of Whisper White card stock and embossed it using the Petals-A-Plenty Embossing Folder. I punched a strip of Rose Red card stock using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and attached it behind the embossed Whisper White card stock. I wrapped this piece with Rose Red 5/7″ Seam Binding and tied a knot. I stamped “Happy Birthday” from the Happiest Birthday Wishes stampset onto the Whisper White card stock above the Rose Red Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border using Stazon Jet Black ink.
I stamped the Triple Treat Flower once onto Whisper White card stock using Stazon Jet Black ink and punched it using the Fancy Flower Punch. I stamped the Triple Treat Flower once more onto Whisper White card stock using Rose Red ink and punched it using the 5 Petal Flower Punch. I attached the Rose Red flower over the Stazon Jet Black flower . I attached the smallest Basic Pearls into the tiny flowers on the Rose Red stamped image and the largest Basic Pearl into the centre of the Rose Red Flower. I used dimensionals on the back of the flower to attach it to the card front.
I love this single flower stamp. Hope you like this simple card.
Bye for now, Kris.

Kris, this is such a beautiful card!!! The flower with the pearls is great! I love the color scheme. The Petals-A-Plenty Embossing came out fantastic!!!! I have to add this one to my wish list!!! ~Sophia
