Sunny Challenges Week 36
This week’s challenge has been brought to us by Gwen and what a pleasure it is to have her back after her break to take care of family. I’m sure I am not the only one who has missed seeing her gorgeous work. But back to the challenge – we have a lovely sketch and that’s it. You can do whatever you want with it, use any stamp set, any colours and any technique that you wish.
I inked the tree image from Lovely as a Tree using my Old Olive and Early Expresso Stampin’ Write Markers and stamped onto Whisper White card stock. I attached a mat of Early Expresso card stock and attached it to scored and folded Whisper White card stock. I attached two different patterns from the Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper to Early Expresso card stock and attached them to the right hand side of the card front. I stamped the greeting from the Perfect Punches stamp set onto Whisper White card stock using Early Expresso ink. I punched the central part of the image using the 1-3/8″ Circle Punch and attached it to a Ridinghood Red 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
This is a super quick and super simple card. I love how using the designer series paper makes it so easy to have a perfectly co-ordinated card.
Anyway now it’s time to visit Gwen, Vicky and Tess and see what gorgeous creations they have for your inspiration. Once you have made your card, scrap page or 3d item, pop over to Sunny Challenges and Creations and add it to Mr. Linky. I can’t wait to see what you come up with this week.
Bye for now, Kris.
Love love love it Kris. Now why didn’t I think of this stamp set. It is usually one of the first ones that jump out at me. I like how you used the DSP too
