New Catalogue Launch

September 10, 2012

Last weekend I held a new catalogue launch which was great fun.  I invited my regular customers, new and old, to come and see some of the fantastic new product in the two new catalogues.     We had a fun afternoon, laughing, previewing the new product and shopping the retired stuff.  I love catching up with my customers when I have time to share a laugh, a glass or wine or a cuppa.

I love the Snowflake Season Simply Scrappin’ Layout Kit in the Holiday mini but didn’t want to make a Christmas page.  My daughter Sarah and her family have recently been on a skiing holiday at Mt. Bulla in Victoria and I thought it would be a great way to show off some of their holiday photos.  You will have to forgive the relatively poor picture quality, I only took the photos this morning and would you believe it, today is the first cloudy day we have had in weeks.

I used a set of alphabet dies which I have had for years to create the heading from Crumb Cake card but all the other embellishments come in the kit.  They are all die cut and from the same quality card that you would expect from Stampin’ Up!.  I love that they are not sticky, so you can pop them up on dimensionals for a really pretty look.  The snowflakes are cut from Silver Glimmer paper to add some bling to the page.   I have only added two photos and there is no journalling yet but you get the idea.

I hope this inspires you to take a close look at this kit and perhaps use it for one of your favourite holidays.

For those of you who live close by, you might want to pop over and visit me next weekend, I am having a sale of all my retired product from the last couple of catalogues.  There are savings of at least 50% and in many cases much more.  The doors will be open from 7am on Saturday and again on Sunday.  If the garage doors aren’t up, just knock on the front door.  Hope to catch up with some of you in person then.

Bye for now, Kris.

The blingy snowflakes look a real treat Kris. I am partial to a snowflake myself, but since our Christmas’ are so warm……seems a wee silly. Great s’booking. ooxx
