Work of Art – maybe
After my pre-order arrived, I spent some time playing with the images from the Work of Art stamp set. This is my first effort and basically uses just about every image in the set. I thought it looked cute but my husband just raised his eyebrows.
I loved the way these colours worked and also the way it was so easy to line up the chevron image so I had another try. This time I stamped the curved image onto the Whisper White card using Soft Suede ink. The first time I stamped first generation, the second time, I stamped off once and the third time I stamped off twice. It gave a really nice graduation in colour. I attached this to Soft Suede card before attaching to Whisper White card embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I stamped the chevron image onto Whisper White card using Crumb Cake ink and attached it to Crumb Cake card before adding it to the card front. Note how well the chevrons line up and I didn’t use a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I stamped the greeting onto Whisper White card using Early Expresso ink and punched it out with the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. I attached it to a Early Expresso 2-3/8″ Scalloped Circle and then the card front using dimensionals. Lastly I stamped the heart using Cherry Cobbler ink, cut it out and attached it to the greeting panel. The whole piece is attached to scored and folded Early Expresso card.
Inside I stamped the background image using Crumb Cake ink and then stamped the greetings over the top using Early Expresso and Cherry Cobbler ink. I love this card how about you?. I think this is a fabulous stamp set and I am sure it will make its way onto lots of creations in the future.
