Moonlight and Butterflies
The large circle on the sketch at Technostamper this week made me think of the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. I teamed it with the more of the Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Hello Honey card. I attached a piece of the Hello Honey coloured designer series paper to the left hand side of the embossed card. I stamped the “starburst” image from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set onto Whisper White card using Mossy Meadow ink, cut it out using one of the Circle Framelit Dies and attached over the designer series paper. I cut another piece of the designer series paper using a Banner Framelit Die and attached it to the lower edge of the card front. I stamped the dotted image onto Whisper White card using Sahara Sand ink and stamped the greeting over the top using Basic Gray ink and again cut it out using a Banner Framelit Die. The greeting is attached over the DSP banner. I stamped the large butterfly using Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch. I stamped the small butterfly using Sahara Sand ink and punched it out using the Bitty Butterfly Punch. The butterflies are attached to each other using Glue Dots and then the card front. I like to add a Glue Dot in the centre of the large butterfly and 1/2 a dimensional under each wing just to give it a little lift. I added three Basic Rhinestones to the centre of the butterflies.
Inside the card I stamped the starburst image again using Mossy Meadow ink and the dotted image using Smoky Slate ink.
This is such a great sketch and I think the card is just gorgeous. What do you think? I’m also a little bit in love with the Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack because it has such lovely designs and colours.
