Another Sketch Challenge

September 20, 2014

I really do love the challenges on the Technostamper blog.  MaryJo really comes up with some fantastic sketches and I love to play along when I get the chance.  This week’s sketch is no exception.

ScreenHunter_76 Aug. 12 20.52I did take a little liberty with the sketch but I think it will still meet the criteria.

026I embossed Whisper White card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Blackberry Bliss card.  I took a little piece of graph paper from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack, attached it to Basic Gray card and then the card front.  I stamped the “thinking of you” from the Four You stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink , cut a “v” in one end and attached it to Hello Honey card.  I stamped the flower from the Flower Shop stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it out using the Pansy Punch.  I punched a small flower from Blackberry Bliss card using the Petite Petals Punch and a 1/2″ circle from Hello Honey card.  I layered the small flower and 1/2″ circle onto the stamped flower and attached it to the card front so that it sits over the end of the greeting.

As usual I kept the inside of the card pretty simple.  I embossed Hello Honey card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, attached a piece of Basic Gray behind the top edge and attached it to Whisper White card.

028I love this layout and I am pretty happy with this card.  I love it when you comment, so let me know what you think.

Bye for now,

Kris
