Father’s Day and Project Life

September 22, 2014

004I shared with you a while back the card and gift I made for my Dad for Father’s Day and today I thought I would share my Project Life pages with the photos from that day.  I used the Project Life Happiness Card Collection and Accessory Pack to create my double page spread.005

I wasn’t too popular with the children because I made them have lots of photos taken, with their Dad’s, their Pop and their Great Grandfather, as you can see by the last photo on the right hand page!  Some of the children answered a questionnaire about my husband (their Pop) and the other’s handmade the card that they gave to him.  006I wanted to preserve them so I scanned them and used MDS to size them to 3″ x 4″ or 4″ x 6″, printed them and used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits Dies to cut them out and add them to the page.  I created the title using the Little Letters Thinlets Dies and layered the Whisper White card over one of the Happiness Is pocket cards. 007 I stamped the chair from The Great Outdoors stamp set using Crushed Curry ink.  As you can see I keep my pages fairly simple but I think they look great and it lets the photos be the focus.

Have you tried the Stampin’ Up! Project Life line of products, if not you really should.  Because they are colour matched to our Stampin’ Up! products you can easily match the colours to our cardstock, ribbon and embellishments to create quick and easy pages.

Bye for now,

Kris
