Freshly Made Flowers

September 22, 2014

This sketch at Freshly Made Sketches is simply fantastic and if the sketch doesn’t get you going, check out the design team samples – all amazing.

FMS Final 154-001Anyway, it certainly inspired me to give it a go.  I embossed Pink Pirouette card using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Chocolate Chip card.  I cut thin strips of Chocolate Chip Designer Paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack, attached them to Chocolate Chip card and then the card front.  I stamped the flower from the Bloom With Hope stamp set onto Whisper White card using Stazon Jet Black ink.

The flowers are coloured using Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.  I stamped the greeting from the Petite Pairs stamp set onto the lower right hand corner of the image panel using Chocolate Chip ink.  The image panel is attached to Chocolate Chip card and then the card front using dimensionals.

046Inside I stamped and coloured the images and added a strip of Designer Series Paper and Chocolate Chip card.

047I love this card so much we are going to make it at one of my classes at Beachmere Retirement Resort.  I think this would look absolutely stunning if you used the Wisteria Wonder Blendibilites and Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp and colour the flowers.

Let me know what you think.

Bye for now,

Kris
