Yesterday my son-in-law celebrated his birthday.  It’s always a dilemma to know what to buy and as usual I ended up opting for his favourite Bourbon.

I saw these cards on Pinterest by Ally at Laughadaisy and knew that I could make something very similar using Stampin’ Up! products.

I embossed Blackberry Bliss card using the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder, added a strip of Lost Lagoon card which is punched using the Scallop Border Punch and then attached it to Sahara Sand card.  I stamped the greeting from the Sassy Salutations stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink.  I wrapped Tangello Twist 1/2″ Stitched Satin Ribbon before attaching to scored and folded Blackberry Bliss card.  I used the Stars Framelits Dies to cut two small (one from Blackberry Bliss card and one from Lost Lagoon card) and one slightly larger star (from Sahara Sand card).  I embossed the Sahara Sand star using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, attached it to the card front using dimensionals and added the Blackberry Bliss star, again using dimensionals.  I punched a small star using the star punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack from Sahara Sand card, attached it to the Lost Lagoon star and then the card front.  I also added one small star punched from Blackberry Bliss card using the same punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

To decorate the inside of the card, I wrapped Sahara Sand card with the Tangello Twist 1/2″ Stitched Satin Ribbon.  I attached a small Sahara Sand star to a slightly larger Blackberry Bliss star, which is attached over the ribbon.

I created a tag to hang from the bottle using all the same elements.  This time the greeting is from the Project Life Remember This Photopolymer stamp set.
