Framed Art

November 9, 2014

Framed-artOnce a year the ladies that come to my class at the Retirement Village ask me to do an all day event.  We usually have this event in November and create lots of different projects.  However, we always make a piece of framed art and this year is no exception.

This year’s framed art is made up of lots of different product, mostly from the Holiday Catalogue.  I’ve used different sized panels to accommodate the stamps used.

All of the panels are layered onto A4 Crumb Cake card.  The other colours of A4 card used are Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black.   Framed-Art-2The frame is designed to hold an A4 document.  This frame is particularly versatile because it is a shadow frame, so 3d pieces will easily fit behind the glass.

We are also going to create this piece at my Christmas Decoration Class on the 13th and 15th November.  Check out my Workshop and Classes page to get the details.  If you live near me and wish to attend, don’t delay in reserving your place, as space is limited.

I hope to be posting a little more regularly once I have the preparation for these classes completed.

Bye for now,

Kris
