Technostamper Challenge 341

November 23, 2014

Well, it seems that my life hasn’t settled down just yet to the point where I can share with you as much as I would like.  However, I did find time to play along with the sketch challenge at MaryJo’s Technostamper blog.  It is a really fun sketch and I am happy with the final result.

ScreenHunter_124 Oct. 31 22.21I embossed Very Vanilla card using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Garden Green card.  I added a piece of the Early Expresso paper from the Under the Tree Designer Series Paper to the centre of the Very Vanilla card.  I punched a narrow piece of Garden Green card using the Scallop Border Punch.  The punched strip is cut into two pieces and one is attached behind the top right hand edge and one behind the bottom left hand edge of Real Red card which is embossed using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  This piece is attached across the centre of the card.

I stamped the image from the Festival of Trees stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Garden Green ink and cut it out using the 2nd smallest Oval Framelit Die.  I covered the whole oval with Versamark ink.  I sprinkled over a combination of Heat and Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds and heat set it.  Makes is oh so sparkly.  The image panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals and covers the ends of the punched card.

Inside I decorated Very Vanilla card with a strip of Garden Green card punched with the Scallop Border Punch which is attached behind the top edge of Real Red card embossed using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  I stamped the tree image onto Very Vanilla card and punched it out using the Tree Punch before attaching it over the decorative border.

I am really loving the colour combination in this gorgeous Designer Series Paper.  Maybe it’s because they are so traditional.  What do you think?

Bye for now,

Stunning, one of my favorite techniques although I never seem to use it anymore?! I love the color combo too, so elegant looking. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week!
