Shimmer and Shine

March 27, 2017

This morning I am sharing a card with you that I made using the That’s the Tag stamp set and the matching Timeless Tags Thinlits Dies.  I embossed Whisper White card using the Falling Petals Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Basic Black card.  I added a piece of the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series paper across the bottom left hand corner.  I cut a full tag from Basic Black card and attached the open die cut tag on the top.  I cut the open die cut tag from Gold Foil paper, Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper (retired Sale-A-Bration product) and Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper (retired Sale-A-Bration product).  The Gold Foil pieces were inlaid into the Basic Black die cut to create the flower.  The Bermuda Bay Glimmer Paper was used as the background and the Mint Macaron Glimmer Paper was used for the stem and leaves of the flower.  I attached the tag to the card front using dimensionals.  I stamped the greeting from the That’s the Tag stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and punched it out using the 1″ circle punch.  I cut a small circle from Basic Black card using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies and attached the greeting.  The greeting is also attached to the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside of the card I added a strip of Basic Black card behind one long edge of the Pop of Pink Specialty Designer Series Paper before attached to Whisper White card.

I love the gorgeous effect created by inlaying the pieces back into the die cut tag, don’t you?  A simple card but one that I really love.

Bye for now,

Kris
