Happy Anniversary

My youngest daughter Emma and her husband Jason recently celebrated their Wedding Anniversary and I thought I would share the card I made for them. I was inspired by this card I found on Pinterest to create a fancy fold card. I cut Whisper White card twice using the larger of the Detailed Floral Thinits Dies and also used the edge die to create the fancy edge. I cut a piece of Coastal Cabana card 25cm x 11cm and scored it along the 25cm length at 9cm and 24cm. I attached one of the Whisper White die cut pieces with the straight edge next to the fold and then used the edge die to cut the Coastal Cabana card. I cut a piece of Coastal Cabana card 9cm x 11cm and attached the second Whisper White die cut. I also used the edge to cut the Coastal Cabana card. The small Coastal Cabana piece of card is attached to the 1cm flap on the larger piece of card. This creates a central panel with two flaps which overlap slightly in the middle. I stamped the floral image from the Floral Phrases stamp set onto the top and bottom of a Whisper White square using Coastal Cabana ink and the Stamparatus to get even placement.
I wrapped the stamped card with Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon and tied a knot before attaching the panel to Coastal Cabana card. The image panel is attached to the left hand flap of the card. I stamped “happy anniversary” from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto Whisper White card using Coastal Cabana ink and cut it out using one of the ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. The greeting is attached to a Coastal Cabana scalloped oval cut using the same dies and then the card front using dimensionals so that the image panel would be held in place by the greeting.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the floral image from the Floral Phrases stamp set onto Whisper White card using Coastal Cabana ink.
I really love the way this card turned out so thanks to Sabrina for the inspiration.
Bye for now,
Kris

Is there a name for this fold or do you know of a video to view how it is made. Beautiful card Thanks.

Thanks for your lovely comment. Shirley, I have no idea if this fold has a name, but I just started by measuring the middle section of a normal sized card and then created two flaps to accommodate the size of the die. One is a scored section and the other end is attached to a small flap on the end of the centre of the card.
