More Butterflies

March 14, 2019

Remember this card I created for a recent Try Stamping on Tuesday challenge, well, I told you I had a couple of more cards using the same products to share.   For the first one I attached a strip of Basic Black card behind one long edge of Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper before attaching to the left hand side of Whisper White card.  The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Basic Black card.  I stamped the greeting from the Butterfly Gala stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut it out using one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies.  The greeting is attached to Basic Black card which is also cut using one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies and then the card front. I used the two dies with five butterflies from Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies, one to cut Basic Black card and one to cut Grapefruit Grove card. (To create the three cards, I actually needed to do this twice, although I still have a couple of butterflies left.)  I cut the dies apart to create five individual butterflies and attached the Grapefruit Grove dies on top of the Basic Black dies.  I attached the largest of the butteflies to the card front.

To decorate the inside of the card, I attached another of the butterflies onto the lower right hand corner of Whisper White card.

The second card has a narrow strip of Basic Black card behind one long edge of Botanical Butterflies Designer Series Paper before attaching to Whisper White card.  The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Basic Black card. I stamped the greeting from the Incredible Like You stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The greeting is cut out using one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies.  The greeting panel is attached to Basic Black card also cut using one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelit Dies before being attached to the card front.  I attached one butterfly to the top right hand corner and one to the bottom left hand corner of the greeting panel.

To decorate the inside of the card, I attached another of the butterflies onto the lower right hand corner of Whisper White card.

Here are all three cards, the one on the left is the one I posted previously.  Don’t they look lovely?  There is something about Black and White and a splash of colour that is so elegant, don’t you think?

Bye for now,

Kris
