Lovely Lattice Three Ways

March 12, 2019

The Lovely Lattice stamp set which is Free with a qualifying order during Sale-a-Bration is absolutely gorgeous.  If you love colouring, you will love this stamp set.  I began by simply stamping the floral image onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I coloured the flowers using the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and the leaves using the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  I stamped the greeting from the Perennial Birthday stamp set onto the bottom of the Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  The stamped Whisper White card is attached to scored and folded Smoky Slate card. Lastly I added Basic Rhinestones to the centres of some of the flowers.

To decorate the inside of the card  I stamped the border image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set onto the centre of the top and the bottom of Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  (Sorry about the quality of the photo.)

For the second card, I stamped the floral image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set onto Whisper White card.  I coloured the image using Smoky Slate, Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  The Whisper White panel is attached to Flirty Flamingo card and then scored and folded Smoky Slate card.    I stamped the greeting from the Perennial Birthday stamp set onto Flirty Flamingo card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The greeting panel is attached across the card front below the floral image.  Once more I added Basic Rhinestones to the centres of some of the flowers.

To decorate the inside of the card I stamped the border image onto the bottom of Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped the small flower from the Lovely Lattice stamp set next to the border image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I coloured the floral image using Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.

For the third card, I embossed Whisper White card using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder. The embossed card is attached to Flirty Flamingo card and then scored and folded Smoky Slate card.  I stamped the floral image  from the Lovely Lattice stamp set onto Smoky Slate card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut out the image and attached it to the embossed card using dimensionals.  I stamped the floral image onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured the the flowers using Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends and the leaves using  Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  I cut out the flowers and leaves and attached the coloured image over the Smoky Slate image.   I stamped the greeting from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto Flirty Flamingo card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I cut out the greeting using the label image from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies.  Once again I added Basic Rhinestones to the centres of some of the flowers.

To decorate the inside of the card I embossed a strip of Whisper White card using the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder.  I attached a narrow strip of Flirty Flamingo card behind one long edge of the embossed card before attaching it to Whisper White card.  I stamped the large floral image from the Lovely Lattice stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card and coloured the largest flower and some leaves using the Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends.  I cut out the flower and attached it over the embossed panel.

When I started creating these cards, I wanted to show how you could start with the same layout and create three slightly different cards, each one being a little more “stepped up”  than the one before.  If I had to say which one I liked the best, it would have to be the third one, which is also a lot of work.  However, if I was really honest, the second card would be the prettiest and easiest to create.  What about you, which card to you like – honestly?

Bye for now,

Kris
