Rollingstone
Today’s page shows off some photos from a visit with out friends back in 2024. To add some texture to the White Willow 12″ x 12″ pages I used the water mask from the Water & Dotted Lines 12″ x 12″ Masks and Pool Party ink. I didn’t want the background to be too dark, so I only applied a little ink and I didn’t care the it wasn’t even. I used a sponge dauber to add Misty Moonlight around the edges of each page. I cut two different patterns from the Waterside Retreat 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper for my pages. I used a sponge dauber to add Misty Moonlight ink around the edges of each piece of Designer Series Paper before attaching them to my pages. My photos are all attached to Misty Moonlight card before being attached to the pages.

My title is cut from Misty Moonlight card using the Mini Alphabet Dies. I used a combination of stamps and dies from the Summer Happiness Bundle and the Splash & Relax Bundle to create the embellishments for the pages. The sun is stamped onto Basic White card using Crushed Curry ink. The “flip flops” and “life buoy” are stamped onto Basic White card using Misty Moonlight ink. The camera and drink bottle are stamped onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I used Daffodil Delight & Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends to add some colour to the drink bottle.

The hat and glasses are cut from Misty Moonlight and Smoky Slate card. The stamped glasses from the Summer Happiness stamp set is stamped onto Basic White card using Pool Party ink. All of the images are cut out using the co-ordinating bundle. This page follows one of Noreen Smith’s 1, 2, 3 Layouts and can be found here on You Tube and also here on Facebook. The You Tube layouts were created when Noreen was part of the Creative Memories Team. The Facebook group is where you can find Noreen now she is no longer part of the Creative Memories Team. You have probably already noticed that I love these layouts. I love that I can use one piece of Designer Series Paper to create a double page layout or I can use my scraps to cut the pieces needed to create the layouts. So thank you Noreen, love your work.
Bye for now,
Kris
