Fun in the Sun
Today I have a fun card using the Summer Happiness stamp set from the May to August Catalogue. I attached a piece of Hydrangea Hue card down one side of a piece of Paper Medley 12″ x 12″ Designer Series before attaching the panel to the left hand side of Basic White card. I stamped “Fun in the Sun” from the Summer Happiness stamp set onto the lower right hand side of the Basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Hydrangea Hue card. I cut Hydrangea Hue card twice using one of the squares from the Perrenial Postage Dies. I cut Basic White card twice using one of the squares from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
I attached the Basic White squares to the Perenial Postal Dies and then the card front using dimensionals. I die cut the glasses from Hydrangea Hue card and the “lens” from Smoky Slate card using the Summer Happiness Dies. I attached the lens to the glass frame before attaching the sunglasses to the lower square. I stamped the “thong” image from the Summer Happiness stamp set onto Basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink.
I used the co-ordinating Summer Happiness Die to cut out the “thongs” before attaching them to the upper square on the card front. To decorate the inside of the card I attached a narrow strip of Hydrangea Hue card behind one long edge of a narrow strip of the same pattern Paper Medley Designer Series Paper. I attached the Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of Basic White card. I stamped the sun image from the Summer Happiness stamp set onto Basic White card using Darling Duckling ink. I stamped the greeting from the Splash & Relax stamp set beside the sun using Hydrangea Hue ink. What a fun stamp set.
