More Darwin

April 13, 2019

This is another page I created for our road trip last year.  This page shows off some photos of the last day we spent in Darwin.  We visited the Howard Springs National Park which was just up the road from the Caravan Park where we were staying.  What a lovely place!  So much for families to do and the water pools would get lots of use almost all year.  We also spent some time catching up with one of Ron’s old work mates and his wife.  We hadn’t seen them in a while so it was great to spend some time with them.  Anyway, on to the page, I attached an A4 sheet of Blueberry Bushel card stock across the bottom of a 12″ x 12″ Whisper White page.  Since the A4 sheet isn’t 12″ long, I cut it so that the break would be hidden underneath the Best Route Designer Series Paper.  I attached three photos down the length of the Best Route Designer Series Paper and one larger photo onto the Blueberry Bushel card.  I created the journaling on the computer and cut the Whisper White card into strips and attached them beside the larger photo.  I cut the letters for the title from Blueberry Bushel card using the Large Alphabet Framelits Dies. Before I attached the letters for the title, I decided to add a little stamping to this page.  I used the Waterfront stamp set and added the ground using Crumb Cake ink.  I stamped the palm tree stems using Soft Suede ink and the palm leaves using Garden Green ink, which I stamped twice before re-inking.  Not a lot of stamping but I think the page needed something a little extra.  Again this is a simple page, but you already know that’s my style.

Bye for now,
