50 Years

August 17, 2019

Today’s page showcases a photo of my Mum and Dad at their 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.  We had a really lovely day at a beautiful restaurant out the back of Mullumbimby (Northern NSW).  The layout was inspired by a sketch challenge at Freshly Made.  I cut a piece of Basic Black card and attached it to the top left hand corner of the page.  I cut the numbers (retired Numbers Dies) and letters (retired Large Letters Dies) from Whisper White card.  I also cut the floral image from the Well Written Dies from Whisper White card.  I cut the tiny flowers from Real Red card using the Well Written DiesI attached two real red flowers on top of each other, staggering the petals and then attached them over the flowers on the die cut.  I also added a Basic Rhinestone to the centre of the flowers.  I cut two pieces Real Red card the same size as the Basic Black card and embossed them using the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder.  I attached the embossed squares around the Basic Black square.  I attached the photo to Basic Black card and attached it to the page.  The only other embellishment is the handwritten date.  Again this is a simple page, but I love this photo of Mum and Dad and wanted it to be the focus.  I am so lucky they are still alive and well 15 years on.

Bye for now,

Kris
