50 Years

Today’s page showcases a photo of my Mum and Dad at their 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration. We had a really lovely day at a beautiful restaurant out the back of Mullumbimby (Northern NSW). The layout was inspired by a sketch challenge at Freshly Made. I cut a piece of Basic Black card and attached it to the top left hand corner of the page. I cut the numbers (retired Numbers Dies) and letters (retired Large Letters Dies) from Whisper White card. I also cut the floral image from the Well Written Dies from Whisper White card. I cut the tiny flowers from Real Red card using the Well Written Dies. I attached two real red flowers on top of each other, staggering the petals and then attached them over the flowers on the die cut. I also added a Basic Rhinestone to the centre of the flowers. I cut two pieces Real Red card the same size as the Basic Black card and embossed them using the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I attached the embossed squares around the Basic Black square. I attached the photo to Basic Black card and attached it to the page. The only other embellishment is the handwritten date. Again this is a simple page, but I love this photo of Mum and Dad and wanted it to be the focus. I am so lucky they are still alive and well 15 years on.
Bye for now,
Kris
