Watercoloured Magnolia

I found a card on Pinterest and used it for the inspiration for this card I made for a friend who recently lost a loved one. I stamped the large Magnolia from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set onto the top left and bottom right hand corners of Shimmery White card using Versamark ink. I sprinkled the stamped image with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it. I used an Aqua Painter to colour the flowers using Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron ink. I attached the Shimmery White card to Soft Sea Foam card and then scored and folded Highland Heather card. I stamped the greeting from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set onto Soft Sea Foam card using Versamark ink. I sprinkled the greeting with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it. I cut out the greeting using one of the ovals from the Stitched Ovals Dies. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the large Magnolia onto the lower left hand corner Shimmery White card using Versamark ink. I sprinkled the image with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it. I coloured the flower using an Aqua Painter and Highland Heather, Soft Sea Foam and So Saffron ink.
I don’t enjoy making cards for these occasions, however, I am most pleased with the way this card turned out.
Bye for now,
Kris
